A very weak love triangle, which will be shortly discussed before the end.

In the beginning, it seemed more like Yui Kashii considered Junichi Hashiba as one of her subordinates.

Later, however, she confesses on her streaming channel that she has real feelings for someone (Junichi Hashiba).

Yui Kashii dresses and speaks differently in her videos.
And since Junichi Hashiba doesn’t recognize her because of that, he can’t really perceive that.

However, towards the end, she shows more of her good side and helps Junichi Hashiba.
But also just because she does not want to see Yukana Yame sad.

Yukana Yame

Yukana Yame is disloyal to Junichi Hashiba.

She meets with an old schoolmate (and other middle school students), although she knew that Junichi Hashiba was jealous.

She gets angry with Junichi Hashiba (Because of his insecurity?).

Junichi Hashiba wants to apologize the next day and meet her after school.
But Yukana Yame is still angry and prefers to go to the meeting.

Later he sees Yukana Yame sitting alone in a café with his old schoolmate.

Season 1, episode 9

Since this anime is a romantic comedy, NTR is represented here only weak and it tries to play it down with humor.

But it annoyed me pretty much, as all have blamed Junichi Hashiba and all have told him that he should apologize, although he is not the only guilty of it.

Also, when Junichi Hashiba tells Yukana Yame he was hurt by that, she shows no understanding.

Even after everything is resolved in episode 10, there is no apology from Yukana Yame.

These things annoyed me a little and made it hard for me to continue watching and taking the last episode of the anime seriously.

Ranko Honjou approaches Junichi Hashiba.
However, she does that intentionally because she has feelings for Yukana Yame and thus wants to separate Junichi Hashiba from Yukana Yame, but she doesn’t succeed.

But Junichi Hashiba remains loyal to Yukana Yame.

My opinion

Moments:

‘Hajimete no Gal’ is a RomCom anime that is just little romantic and more limited to perverse comedy and fan service.
Sometimes this unfortunately destroys beautiful moments which unfortunately did not exist that much anyway.

Although the pair comes together from the first episode, the romance between the two is quite slow.
It is also due to the many interruptions in this short anime that make it even worse.

Then there was the annoying NTR episode.
Since NTR is one of my taboo facts, the romance rating falls pretty heavy.

But I will not go into that here now.

Animation:

There is nothing wrong with the animation.

Characters:

Junichi Hashiba sometimes shows off his brave side, but most of the time is more of a weakling, who doesn’t trust himself very much, although he always has perverted thoughts.

Besides, I find his friends pretty, hmmm …. not quite normal.
But those are probably one of the reasons why Hajimete no Gal’s “Comedy” is designed/demonstrated in a perverse way.

I rated episode 2 and episode 10 the best.
Otherwise, I found episode 8 and the OVA episode also okay.

The rest was very weak.
