However, in the next episode, the love confession gets resumed through a flashback of Akane Mizuno.

In the flashback, we see that Akane Mizuno does not completely reject the love confession.
She just asks Kotaro Azumi to give her some time to think.

Then at the end of the episode, we see Kotaro Azumi and Akane Mizuno under a tree while it rains.
Akane Mizuno shyly tells Kotaro Azumi that she would like to talk to him more.

Which makes Kotaro Azumi blush, therefore he asks her if this is her answer (to his love confession).

My opinion

Moments:

An anime with many beautiful heart warming moments.

‘Tsuki ga Kirei’  is about two rather calmer main protagonists.
It’s fun to watch as they slowly approach and become more courageous with the relationship.

Of course, there are a few drama moments here and there, and the Love Triangle drama was stretched a little too much.

Animation:

I found the animation very pretty and also kind of cute.
Fits the anime, which leads to a great atmosphere.

Characters:

Ending:

Since the anime was mostly very cute, I felt the drama in the closing part was somehow forced.
That’s why I was a little disappointed with the end, because the cuteness factor didn’t last until the end.

Okay, but then in the (unfortunately very short) credits we finally see the happy ending.

Episode Rating:

I rated Episode 8 and 11 with a full 10 out of 10 points.
Two very sweet romantic episodes where it’s all about the couple.

The last episode received only 3 out of 10 points from me.

The OVA Tsuki ga Kirei ex are just short stories of the minor characters.
