Short review + SPOILERS

(As far as I can remember!)

It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen ‘Ore Monogatari!!’, and since many have already recommended it in the comments section, I wanted to recommend it to you again here, with spoilers I still remember.


“Ore Monogatari!!” is a very sweet and wholsome Anime.

It’s about Gouda Takeo, an unusually-large boy with a big heart, but who has no luck with women.

Until one day Yamato Rinko appears and falls in love with Gouda Takeo.

However, because Gouda Takeo’s best friend, Makoto Sunakawa, gets many requests from other girls, Gouda Takeo initially mistakenly believes that Yamato Rinko has a crush on Makoto Sunakawa.

After the misunderstanding is cleared up, Gouda Takeo and Yamato Rinko finally become a couple.
And later there is even a kiss between the two.

A bit of drama is also involved.
Mostly in connection with the little love triangles.

Like for example:

Gouda Takeo’s classmate, Mariya Saijou.

At first she was afraid of him, but later she got to know him better and fell in love with him, to the point that she even confessed her love to him.

Gouda Takeo, of course, remained loyal to Yamato Rinko and rejected Mariya Saijou.

Makoto Sunakawa’s older sister, Ai Sunakawa, is also in love with Gouda Takeo, and has been since they were children.
She wanted to wait with her love confession to him until he would have gone to university, since she is 3 years older than him.

In the end, however, Yamato Rinko got in her way, which shocked her a lot.
She couldn’t believe it and became jealous.

Fortunately, at some point she got over it and began to fall in love with her classmate Hayato Oda.

Kouki Ichinose is a co-worker of Yamato Rinko.

Since Yamato Rinko helped him and she likes his cakes, he misunderstood this as Yamato Rinko having romantic feelings for him.
That encouraged him so that he finally makes a love confession to her.

But like Gouda Takeo, Yamato Rinko too, of course, remained loyal to Gouda Takeo and rejected Kouki Ichinose.

Gouda Takeo proposes to Yamato Rinko, which she accepts.
